For Full Page bleed add 1/8" on all sides to the trim
size keeping the ad copy within the Live Area.
For 1/2 Page bleed ads, the dimensions for horizontal ads
are 8-1/2" W x 5-1/4" H. For Vertical ads the dimensions are
3-7/8" H x 11" H.
For 1/3 Page bleed ads the dimensions for horizontal ads
are 8-1/2" W x 3-1/2" H. Dimensions for vertical ads are 2-1/2"
W x 11" H
Submitting Your Ad
All ads must be accompanied by a proof and must be in
Digital format.

Color: All ads are Black & White and color should
be defined as grayscale except for Cover pages 2, 3, and 4. Those pages
are full color. Photos should be 300 dpi at final size and line art should
be 1270 dpi.
Acceptable Media: Please provide electronic material
on either CD-ROM or Zip Disk. All disks must be labeled clearly with descriptive
name including file name, format, and platform. Ads can be emailed but
they must be compressed and under 2mg.
Electronic Files: Digital files should be in TIFF,
EPS (fonts saved as paths), or PDF (embedded fonts). PDF's should be made
from a document containing postscript fonts with art/image files saved
at 300 dpi. Application files in Quark or Pagemaker should include all
fonts and images. Do not send files as JPG or DCS All graphic files (pictures
and logos) should be saved as TIFF or EPS files at 300 dpi and linked
to the document.
Printing Process: Offset. Trim size is 8-1/2 x 10-7/8"
Ad Production Costs: Additional charges will apply
for client-requested changes, special production costs, additional preparation
of artwork, halftones, separations, and typesetting changes. If your ad
required typesetting, a layout with detailed specifications should accompany
all ads. We cannot guarantee exact match of any special typeface.
Advertising Policies
- Payment MUST accompany any and all ads.
- No cancellations are accepted after ad due date.
- No commissions or cash discounts.
- Off-sized ads will be billed at the next highest standard size.
- We reserve to refuse any ad that is offensive or inappropriate for
our readers. Contact us with any questions.
- In the case of publisher error in printing, publisher liability will
be limited to publishing a new ad in the next issue at no additional
charge.
