through diagrams and instruction on how to turn and assemble this
key chain.
Tooling Required
Preparing & Turning the Wood Blank
The wood blank for this pen should be approximately 5/8" x 5/8"
x 2 3/8"" (16 mm x 16 mm x 60 mm). You can either purchase
a blank this size, or you can cut your own.
Drill the blank with the 11 mm drill bit. Glue the tube in the
blank and square the ends of the blank to the tube.
Mount the blank on the A-Mandrel with the 13A Bushings on both
sides. You may need to put some spacer bushings (7mm
1A bushings) to keep the blank secure. Turn to the same thickness
as the 13A bushings and finish.

.Press in the the finial into one end of the tube. Press the threaded
insert into the other end up to the threads. Screw the Cap on and
secure the key ring into the top of the cap. Fill the key chain
with whatever you choose.
